John Purcell Paper A5(ish) sketchbook number 4, begun Septemberish 2002
The naked vacuum cleaner wielder was the titular star of my story Heavens to Betsy, Miss Wickerstaff, Have You No Shame? from the comic anthology Sentence (also featuring the likes of Tom Gauld, Nick Abadzis and Gary Northfield among others). Still quite fond of her for all her badly drawnness.
